The first “1/48 Scale Special Edition” offering is a WWII United States Military Railway Service flat car with an early production M4 Sherman tank. The flat car is highly detailed, marked and weathered in 1/48 scale to operate on 2 rail “O” scale track.

The undercarriage is also finely detailed and weathered. It has a real wood plank deck, die-cast trucks and couplers, wood chocks and blocks as well as cable tie-downs with wood stake twists. The load is an early production 1/48 scale M4 Sherman tank distinguished by its 3 part transmission cover, flat return roller arm and spoked wheels. It is also highly detailed, weathered and comes with radio antennae, tarp roll and 50 cal. machine gun (either tarp covered or uncovered, as shown).
